Úrprentun is a new hybrid publishing company which seeks to return works of science fiction and fantasy to print in the English language. In various levels of partnership with the author or rights holder, we facilitate the publication process from cover design to interior layout, to printing and distribution. We are not at present an editorial house for previously unpublished works, and are not at present openly soliciting submissions.

PRINCIPLES:

• We license one-time rights for a print run. No long-term contracts.
• We do not use Generative AI for cover art.
• We do not use Generative AI for catalog copy.
• We do not use AI for submissions processing.
• We do not use AI for translation or narration.
• We work only with environmentally-certified printers and distribution services.
• Our books are distributed on a non-returnable basis.
